Senior Software Engineer Oracle Banking (m/f/d)

About the Role

Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Banking to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, specifically within Oracle Banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize solutions using PL/SQL and Java/J2EE.
• Administer and manage WebLogic Server environments.
• Work with Oracle ADF and Oracle JET for UI development.
• Implement and integrate REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Integrate systems with SWIFT (*, MT103, MT202, MT300).
• Monitor and manage exposure and limits across various products.
• Handle collateral management and exposure utilization.
• Utilize Oracle SOA Suite for middleware integration.
• Schedule batch jobs using tools like Control-M and Autosys.
• Support core banking modules including Accounts, Loans, Payments, and Trade Finance.
• Manage risk and interest rates within Treasury operations.
• Perform real-time limit checks and updates.
• Apply CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Adhere to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation.
• Support Treasury Back Office Operations including deal capture, settlement, and confirmation.
• Implement secure coding practices and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Provide testing and UAT support.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in mentoring and code review practices.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking (FCUBS).
• Experience with Oracle Treasury (FX, MM, Derivatives, Repos, Securities).
• Knowledge of Oracle Limits and Collateral Management (LCM).
• Strong skills in PL/SQL Development and Optimization.
• Expertise in Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c).
• Experience with Java / J2EE.
• Familiarity with XML / XSD / XSLT.
• Awareness of Basel III / IFRS / Regulatory Compliance.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Optional: Experience with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX).
• Optional: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Oracle Banking solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Proven track record in functional and technical documentation.
