Buro Happold is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its full-time team in Riyadh. This role involves contributing to high-performance structures and complex engineering challenges. Role Purpose and Project Scope

As a Senior Structural Engineer in the Riyadh office, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and sustainable designs that contribute to visionary projects. The role involves working across a range of high-profile developments, from cultural landmarks to complex commercial structures, applying advanced analysis and collaborative approaches to shape the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of building structures projects, ensuring technical quality and alignment with client and sustainability objectives.
• Apply advanced structural analysis and design skills using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and Robot.
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural solutions seamlessly within the overall design.
• Review and supervise work by junior engineers, providing mentorship as required.
• Engage in peer reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of technical delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Chartered or actively working towards chartership with a recognized body (*, IStructE, ICE).
• Demonstrated interest in innovation, sustainability, and delivering efficient engineering solutions.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and Robot.
