Gathern is seeking a Strategy Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the company's strategic planning and performance cycle.

Role Purpose

The Strategy Manager will own Gathern's strategic planning and performance cycle from end to end. This includes managing the North Star driver model, OKR and initiative portfolio planning, and executive and board reporting. The primary objective is to ensure that leadership decisions are based on current, reconciled, and traceable data.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain planning and analysis for key metrics such as revenue, reservations, ARPR, SCR, ADR, LOS, and take rate.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of targets, actuals, and variances.
• Conduct diagnostic analysis to attribute revenue and reservation gaps to primary and supporting drivers, converting attributions into actionable items with owners and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain scenario and sensitivity models for pricing, segmentation, and destination planning.
• Support annual and quarterly planning cycles, including target setting and monthly ramp-up.
• Oversee OKR planning, including objectives, key results, initiative cards, scoring, and milestone tracking.
• Manage the monthly performance cycle, data cut-off, variance review, commentary drafting, and publication according to a fixed calendar.
• Ensure all commitments and initiatives translate into required performance outcomes.
• Maintain the metric definitions library and enforce consistency across all published reports.
• Produce monthly executive reports, quarterly one-pagers, and board materials to a consistent standard, including action titles, concise commentary, and internally consistent metrics.
• Prepare pre-reads and decision papers for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
• Act as the quality gate for all published figures, ensuring traceability to a source and definition.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic planning and performance cycles.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial and operational metric analysis.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining complex scenario and sensitivity models.
• Experience with OKR frameworks and performance management systems.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for executive and board-level audiences.
