About the Role

Accenture Middle East is seeking a Strategy Principal Director to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a candidate with over 10 years of experience to drive strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients navigating rapid change and complex business environments.

Role Context and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be instrumental in helping leaders create transformation by enriching the relationship between people and strategic initiatives. You will guide clients to reimagine their businesses, build strategies with leaders and cultures that accelerate change, and create and deliver exceptional strategic outcomes. The focus will be on driving a comprehensive strategy agenda, incorporating sustainability, inclusion, diversity & equity (ID&E), purpose, and board effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading teams of 10+ consultants across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Driving business development, including proposal leadership and thought leadership development.
• Shaping points-of-view and frameworks that differentiate market position.
• Coaching and mentoring teams to develop high-performing individuals and groups.
• Originating and delivering multi-million-dollar engagements with clients.
• Navigating complex stakeholder environments and closing significant deals independently.

Functional and Technical Expertise

This position requires foundational excellence in strategy and operations consulting, with a strong working knowledge in Technology Strategy and Advisory. This includes expertise in digital transformation, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture. A strong understanding of telecommunications networks, such as 5G, fiber, and core/RAN architecture, is highly valued. The role demands the ability to deliver measurable business impact across strategy, operating model, and technology domains.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 13 years of consulting experience, primarily in Communication and Media Technology. A high degree of comfort with strategic decision-making and strong quantitative skills are essential for developing financial or operational models and supervising data analysis. A deep understanding of industry dynamics and value creation opportunities in one or more industries is required. Strong analytical skills, the ability to understand complex issues, absorb information quickly, and excel in conceptual and creative problem-solving are critical.

Essential qualifications include:

• Minimum of 13 years of consulting experience, majorly in Communication and Media Technology.
• Comfort with strategic decision-making and strong quantitative skills.
• Deep understanding of industry dynamics and value creation opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Digitally savvy with a curiosity for technology's impact on business and society.
• Natural leadership ability and capacity to establish trust-based relationships.

• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.

Preferable qualifications include an MBA or graduate-level degree in a related field, experience in operating model design, strategy formulation, digital transformation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Regional and Cultural Acumen

A deep understanding of Middle East business culture and government-commercial interfaces is essential for this role. Established presence and credibility within the regional TMT ecosystem are highly advantageous. Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is a mandatory requirement.
