The Role of Supply Chain Specialist

Diaverum Saudi Arabia is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves taking full ownership of clinic supply activities, from stock validation and requirement calculation to purchase order issuance, delivery monitoring, invoice processing, and audit documentation. The Supply Chain Specialist will report to the Supply Chain Team Leader and collaborate closely with clinic teams, logistics, and finance departments. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and validate clinic stock-count reports for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Investigate abnormal stock movements and follow up with clinics to resolve discrepancies.
  • Calculate supply requirements based on stock on hand, open orders, consumption, and approved coverage targets.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders through the approved process, verifying all item details before issuance.
  • Support sourcing assessments, market research, and supplier pre-qualification activities.
  • Monitor deliveries against purchase order dates and formally follow up on orders.
  • Retain all approvals, supplier communications, and supporting documents for traceability and audit readiness.
  • Prepare weekly operational updates for the Supply Chain Team Leader covering open orders, shortages, delays, and pending approvals.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with Supply Chain policies, approval requirements, and company controls.
