About the Role

TawanTech is seeking an experienced T24 System Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is central to designing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining Core Banking environments built on Temenos Transact (T24).

Role Purpose

The T24 System Architect will lead architectural initiatives for T24, overseeing system deployments, optimizing performance, and ensuring the stability, scalability, and availability of mission-critical banking platforms. This role requires strong hands-on experience with TAFC/TAFJ architecture, infrastructure design, environment management, system integration, and production support across the complete implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available Temenos T24 system architectures.
• Define deployment architecture and environment strategies for Development, SIT, UAT, DR, and Production.
• Lead T24 infrastructure planning, sizing, capacity management, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity.
• Manage end-to-end T24 implementation and deployment activities, including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and Go-Live support.
• Administer Temenos T24 environments, configure multi-instance setups, monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform patch management.
• Optimize COB performance and batch processing, perform system performance tuning, and analyze infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Design and support integration between T24 and external systems, managing Web Services, API connectivity, SWIFT integrations, and IBM MQ messaging.
• Administer Linux and Unix servers, manage shell scripts, and support database connectivity, application servers, and middleware performance.
• Support Core Banking implementation projects, participate in architecture reviews, prepare technical documentation, and mentor junior T24 engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Temenos T24.
• Strong experience in Core Banking implementations and large-scale banking transformation projects.

Required Technical Expertise

• Extensive hands-on experience with Temenos Transact (T24), TAFC, TAFJ, T24 Architecture, System Administration, Environment Management, and Multi-Instance Configuration.
• Proficiency in Performance Tuning, COB Optimization, Deployment Automation, Go-Live Support, Upgrade Projects, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability.
• Experience with infrastructure and middleware technologies including IBM WebSphere, JBoss Enterprise Application Server, IBM MQ, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Linux, and Unix.
• Demonstrated experience in Web Services, REST APIs, SWIFT Integration, and general Middleware Integration and Interface Management.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• TAFC to TAFJ Migration experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud-based deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
• Experience in banking infrastructure modernization.
