The Role of Team Leader

KONE is seeking a Team Leader with a service mindset to provide professional service to customers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting proactive on-site communication with customers and equipment users. The Team Leader will be responsible for driving and executing VA & VB repair activities and managing a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety on site by applying good safety practices, including proactive risk identification and adherence to STOP and GO principles.
• Manage on-site communication with customers regarding day-to-day installation activities, coordinating continuously with the Field Supervisor.
• Oversee the equipment installation environment during installation activities.
• Perform the reception, checking, and storage of materials, ensuring the security of delivered equipment through correct storage and site handling.
• Carry out installations according to predetermined method instructions and schedules.
• Ensure high-quality and timely installation of equipment, following KONE installation methods throughout the process as described in AM instructions.
• Report installation progress to the Field Supervisor.
• Maintain installation tooling in a safe and good condition.
• Promote quality feedback and proactively contribute to product improvement by providing feedback to the supply line.
• React quickly to unexpected events by communicating with the Field Supervisor.
• Apply lean principles to avoid work interruptions and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated service mindset and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of technicians effectively.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and risk identification.
• Proficiency in managing on-site communication and coordination.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working at the core of KONE's operations, focusing on equipment installation and repair activities while ensuring a high standard of service and safety.
