About the Role

Tripod Global is seeking an experienced Technical Designer with expertise in joinery and architectural fit-out to join its Joinery Division. This full-time position is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves translating design concepts into precise technical drawings for production and execution, requiring a strong understanding of joinery, shop drawings, architectural details, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, architectural details, and production drawings.
Develop technical drawings for bespoke furniture, interiors, wall cladding, doors, kitchens, and custom joinery elements.
Interpret architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to create accurate joinery solutions.
Coordinate with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams.
Ensure drawings align with design intent, project specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
Review drawings and incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Provide technical support during production and installation stages.
Maintain accurate drawing records and project documentation.
Take site measurements and surveys as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in joinery drafting, architectural drafting, or interior fit-out.
Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, joinery construction, and interior materials and finishes.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar software is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.
