About Dingli and the Role

Dingli, represented by Tripod Machinery Middle East Trading Company, is a global manufacturer specializing in intelligent aerial work platforms and material handling equipment. The company is recognized for its range of electric, diesel, and hybrid access equipment, supported by international research and development and advanced manufacturing capabilities. We are seeking a Technical Engineer Apprentice to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a contract position.

Role Purpose and Scope

This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience within a machinery-focused environment where technical learning, operational reliability, and customer support are central. The role provides exposure to both the operational and technical aspects of the business, allowing the apprentice to support customers, work directly with equipment, and develop hands-on familiarity with internal systems and service processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with warehouse machinery handling and operational activities, including pre-delivery inspections and daily routine inspections.
  • Prepare and coordinate machines for customer delivery, ensuring all documentation and safety checks are complete.
  • Support spare parts inventory control and coordinate with customers regarding parts orders and availability.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct machine familiarization and operational training sessions for clients to ensure safe and efficient usage.
  • Develop proficiency in using the company's ERP system for tracking inventory, orders, and service records.
  • Complete additional work tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficiency in using computers.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience range: 0-1 years.
  • Hands-on experience with machinery work such as equipment servicing, warehouse operations, pre-delivery inspections, or routine inspections (preferred).
  • Experience using an ERP platform (preferred).
  • Prior exposure to aerial work platforms, material handling equipment, or similar industrial machinery (preferred).
  • Experience supporting customers through troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating deliveries, or providing basic machine familiarization or training (preferred).

Work Setting

This contract position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic environment focused on machinery operations and customer support.
