Technical Engineer BIM & CAD (Civil/Structural)

About the Role

Double Marks Contracting is seeking a Technical Engineer specializing in BIM & CAD (Civil/Structural) to join its project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the delivery of a major data center project and contributing to Double Marks' technical engineering team for current and future initiatives. The position requires 0-1 years of experience and is suited for hands-on technical engineers focused on BIM and shop drawings, rather than solely BIM management or coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage structural/civil shop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop, update, and maintain project BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with Architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and support the resolution of coordination issues.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, details, reinforcement details, openings, embeds, and other construction drawings.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and project requirements before developing shop drawings.
• Identify design discrepancies and prepare/support RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, site engineers, consultants, and other disciplines.
• Incorporate approved design changes and site modifications into drawings/models.
• Maintain drawing revisions and support the preparation of redlines and final as-built drawings/models.
• Support Double Marks with AutoCAD/Revit and technical drawing requirements across future projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete construction and structural drawings.
• Ability to independently produce construction/shop drawings from IFC documents.
• Experience coordinating Structural, Architectural, and MEP models.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is preferred.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience on large-scale, mission-critical, industrial, or data center projects is an advantage.
• Saudi/GCC construction experience is preferred.
