About the Opportunity

International Consultant KSA is expanding its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is seeking experienced engineers for full-time positions in water resources and operational planning. We are looking for professionals to contribute to various projects within the water, hydrogeology, and drainage sectors.

Available Positions

We are currently recruiting for the following specialized engineering roles:

• Water Demand Forecasting Engineer
• Hydrogeology Engineer
• Agricultural Drainage Engineer

Water Demand Forecasting Engineer Responsibilities

• Assess end-user demand and analyze historical water consumption by sector.
• Develop, calibrate, and validate sector-specific forecasting models.
• Utilize population projections, land-use plans, and proposed developments to assess future water demand under various growth scenarios.

Hydrogeology Engineer Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrogeological investigations and groundwater studies.
• Assess high groundwater levels and recommend appropriate groundwater management measures.

Agricultural Drainage Engineer Responsibilities

• Assess waterlogging, shallow groundwater, and drainage requirements in agricultural areas.
• Develop and compare surface and subsurface drainage options, including open drains, perforated collector pipes, and pumping stations.
• Estimate drainage flows, size drainage infrastructure, and assess options for safe discharge or reuse of collected drainage water.

Qualifications and Requirements

• For Water Demand Forecasting Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong experience in water demand forecasting, computational modeling, and statistical analysis is required.
• For Hydrogeology Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience in hydrogeological investigations and groundwater studies. Proficiency in MODFLOW or equivalent groundwater modeling software is desirable.
• For Agricultural Drainage Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in civil, agricultural, or water resources engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in agricultural drainage studies and design.
