About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Wood Polisher & Painter to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves applying various finishes to property surfaces and furniture, ensuring high standards of appearance and maintenance. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
Remove old finishes through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
Cover surfaces with appropriate protective materials during painting and post relevant paint signs.
Clean and properly store paint, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete required safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Support the team in achieving common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Capability to move up and down a ladder.
Skill to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

0-1 years of experience in wood polishing and painting.
Demonstrated ability to apply various finishes accurately and efficiently.
Understanding of safety procedures related to painting and finishing work.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
