Faculty Position in Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), located in Dhahran, invites applications for full-time faculty positions. • Sustainable Energy and Carbon Management: Covering areas such as hydrogen production, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and energy efficiency.
• Advanced Materials and Chemical Manufacturing: Including polymers, nanomaterials, and catalysis.
• Environmental Technologies: Focusing on water treatment, waste valorization, and green processing.
• Industrial Process Optimization, Automation, and Safety: Encompassing process intensification, the application of AI in chemical engineering, and smart manufacturing.

Core Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the chemical engineering curriculum.
• Advise and mentor students at various academic levels.
• Supervise Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) theses and dissertations.
