King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), located in Dhahran, is seeking dedicated faculty members for the Department of Petroleum Engineering. This full-time position is open for candidates at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

The Role

The successful candidate will contribute to both research and teaching within the Department of Petroleum Engineering. We are looking for specialists in key areas to enhance our academic and research capabilities.

Specializations

Candidates should possess expertise in one of the following specialized fields:

• Drilling Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Reservoir Engineering
• Petroleum Economics

Key Responsibilities

The appointed faculty member will be expected to fulfill a range of academic and professional duties, committing approximately 35-40 hours per week. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching to students.
• Conducting impactful research in the field.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing assigned administrative duties.
• Undertaking other academic duties as directed by the department.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following academic and professional criteria:

• An earned ** degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required for degrees obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
