About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Global Studies within its Department of Global Studies. Based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, this role is open to highly qualified Saudi candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in both teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. These responsibilities include:

Carrying out teaching duties
Conducting research
Providing academic advising to students
Performing administrative duties as required
Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following academic qualifications:

Hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from prestigious, top-ranked local or international universities.
Possess an earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field of Global Studies.
Have completed a full-time Master’s degree program with very good grades.
Provide certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Essential Requirements and Preferences

The medium of instruction at KFUPM is English, requiring proficiency in the language for all academic duties. Candidates with expertise or experience related to the Middle East are particularly encouraged to apply.
