About the Workshop Supervisor Role

This role is for a Workshop Supervisor at Sinopec Tech Middle East, based in Dhahran, within the Eastern region. It is a full-time position focused on overseeing all workshop activities. The primary objective is to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly, maintenance, and production operations of drilling and completion tools.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Workshop Supervisor is central to managing the operational aspects of the workshop. This involves comprehensive oversight of personnel, production schedules, equipment utilization, and material management. The role ensures that all activities align with company objectives and operational standards, contributing directly to the reliability and readiness of critical tools for field use. A key aspect of this position is driving continuous process improvement, supporting localization projects, and maintaining strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and quality requirements across all workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor workshop production plans to ensure timely and efficient task execution.
• Supervise and coordinate workshop personnel, assign daily work, and ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety rules.
• Oversee on-site workshop management, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with HSE and quality standards.
• Manage all workshop equipment and tools, including maintenance, calibration, and repair schedules to ensure reliability and readiness.
• Supervise material handling, inventory control, and documentation to support uninterrupted production and field operations.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process optimization for improved productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure all assembled and maintained drilling and completion tools meet inspection and testing standards before release for field use.
• Train and evaluate workshop staff to enhance technical competence and teamwork.
• Prepare regular reports on production progress, equipment status, and material usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader or management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess:

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in workshop supervision or a similar operational management role, preferably within the drilling and completion tools sector.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in Dhahran, Eastern region, with Sinopec Tech Middle East. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily workshop activities in a dynamic industrial environment.
