About the Role

Kerten Hospitality is seeking a Barista/Bartender to join the team at Dar Tantora in Al Ula. This full-time role involves supporting the F&B operations by ensuring high-quality beverage service and maintaining bar standards within a sustainable, community-driven hospitality environment. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Context of the Property

Dar Tantora, The House Hotel, is located in the heart of Al Ula’s Old Town, a significant heritage site in Saudi Arabia. This property, along with its sister property Cloud 7 Residence, aims to provide an earth-friendly, low-impact sustainable heritage eco-sanctuary. The community includes 30 rooms, 2 F&B outlets, a cigar lounge, a spa, and various retail stores, focusing on creating experiences that highlight the destination's historical importance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste for all drinks served.
• Provide friendly, professional, and engaging service to guests at the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and minimize waste.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and operate POS systems accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Upsell beverages and promote signature cocktails and special offers.
• Support bar setup, closing procedures, and special events or functions.
• Work closely with the F&B team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to ensure consistent quality and presentation of beverages.
• Proficiency in cash-handling procedures and POS systems.
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
