Finance Manager Dates Industry

About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment is seeking a Finance Manager for its Dates Industry operations in Al Qassim, Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing daily financial operations, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, cash flow, and audit coordination. The Finance Manager will provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, payroll, inventory, receivables, payables, and cash.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Monitor daily cash positions, bank balances, collections, and payments, and review financial transactions for compliance with company policies.
• Lead the preparation of annual operating budgets and financial plans, covering farming operations, production, processing, packaging, sales, logistics, manpower, capital expenditure, and administrative expenses.
• Establish and maintain an effective cost-control system across all operational activities, monitoring costs per unit and identifying opportunities for reduction and efficiency.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and various analyses for management.
• Oversee the financial accounting and control of agricultural and finished-goods inventories, ensuring proper recording, reconciliation, and valuation.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.
• Coordinate and manage the company's annual external audit process, acting as the primary finance contact and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage working capital and optimize cash flow, monitoring collections, payments, and preparing forecasts to ensure liquidity.
• Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions, including evaluating new projects and improving profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain cost control systems and conduct financial analysis.
• Experience with audit coordination and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
