About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Lounge In Charge for full-time positions in Al Madinah, specifically in Yanbu and Medina. This role involves overseeing lounge operations during assigned shifts and maintaining high service standards, acting as the primary operational lead in the absence of the Lounge Manager or Duty Manager. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Operational Leadership and Oversight

The Lounge In Charge is responsible for the overall operational efficiency and service excellence of the lounge during their shifts. This includes making operational decisions, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, and supporting lounge management in maintaining guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Lounge In-Charge during assigned shifts, making operational decisions when the Lounge Manager or Duty Manager is absent.
• Supervise all lounge functions, including reception, F&B, and housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee guest check-in and admission procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Greet, receive, and bid farewell to guests professionally.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Support and guide Guest Service Officers in daily operations and customer interactions.
• Monitor lounge areas to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and readiness.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen teams to address operational issues.
• Oversee cash handling, billing, and accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of lost and found items.
• Monitor adherence to service standards, grooming, and conduct of guest service staff.
• Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and shift handovers.
• Ensure confidentiality of guest information and operational data.
• Support training and on-the-job coaching for new and existing guest service staff.
• Prepare basic operational reports and escalate issues to management as required.
• Conduct lounge opening and closing procedures and ensure full readiness before operating hours.
• Monitor lounge capacity and guest flow, managing peak periods to maintain service standards.
• Handle incidents and emergencies, liaising with airport authorities, airlines, and partners as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock requisitions with relevant departments.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Lounge Manager or Duty Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in lounge operations or a similar hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee operations and manage a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of service standards, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with company procedures, admission policies, and Saudi regulatory requirements.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Madinah, with opportunities in both Yanbu and Medina. The role involves working within a dynamic lounge environment, requiring coordination with various teams and direct interaction with guests.
