The Role: Assistant Restaurant Manager

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager for The InterContinental The Red Sea Resort in Umluj, Tabuk. This role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
• Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of restaurant staff to ensure a high level of service.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and executing promotional events, marketing initiatives, and loyalty programs.
• Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to menu development and pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and optimize stock control.
• Collaborate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in analyzing sales data and identifying areas for improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality role. A proven ability to manage daily operations, lead staff, and contribute to business development is essential.
