About the Role
Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a Front Office Agent to join their team in Umluj. This full-time position involves being the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience throughout their stay at the luxury resort. The role requires managing guest interactions with efficiency and warmth, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate guest check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail and hospitality standards.
- Manage guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, working towards satisfactory resolutions.
- Provide concierge services, offering recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities in Umluj.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately and securely.
- Communicate effectively with guests via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a friendly and empathetic manner.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing guest needs and maintaining composure during busy periods.
- Uphold Fairmont service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
- Experience in pre-opening stages of a hotel, including project coordination, scheduling, and document control, is essential.
- Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
- A proactive and anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Fluency in Arabic and English; additional language skills are considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- A professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities and experience in conflict resolution.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural awareness.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This is a full-time position based in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, at Fairmont The Red Sea.
