About the Assistant Outlet Manager Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager for its upcoming Raffles The Red Sea property, located in Tabuk, specifically serving the Umluj and Tabuk areas. This full-time position reports directly to the F&B Manager and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The Assistant Outlet Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the outlet within this new, nature-focused resort.

The Red Sea Project Context

Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea is part of the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, designed as a nature-focused resort. The property will feature 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, and a spa. Situated next to an 18-hole championship golf course, the resort aims to set new standards in sustainable development. It is positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of over 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitats, and ancient archaeological sites.

Key Operational Responsibilities

• Participate in the formulation of the Annual Operating Budget, determining projected outlet revenues and expenses.
• Prepare personnel schedules according to forecasts and staffing guide limits to ensure adequate manpower at all times.
• Be involved in planning promotions, beverage purchases, and pricing strategies.
• Prepare requisitions for beverages, condiments, general supplies, and guest supplies, adhering to established par stocks.
• Actively participate in the creation of new drinks and snacks, and improve presentations to achieve overall objectives and propose variations.
• Continuously monitor the beverage cost of sale.

Supervision and Quality Standards

• Supervise daily operations in accordance with Hotel Management standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the outlet.
• Maintain sanitary conditions as per Health codes and Hotel standards.
• Supervise all bar personnel, constantly observing their attitude towards colleagues and guests.
• Continuously train subordinates to achieve the highest level of professionalism.
• Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses.
• Inspect all areas daily before opening, following a fixed standard checklist, and ensure full adherence to closing duties.
• Enforce and maintain all company policies and procedures.
• Inspect all fridges and bar stores to check expiry dates on all items.
• Ensure correct control of beverages to avoid wastage and spoilage, in correlation with the Bars Manager.
• Report any equipment failures or problems to the Maintenance Department and pass on maintenance requests.

• Generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
• Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times, promoting a good company image to guests and colleagues.

• Adhere to fixed grooming standards as per hotel policy.
• Comply with Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
• Participate in any training and development schemes recommended by senior management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B Manager.
• Comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.

Experience and Employment Details

Candidates for the Assistant Outlet Manager position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. This is a full-time employment opportunity.
