The resort will offer purpose-driven hospitality centered on holistic health, integrative medicine, and soulful care, with tailored experiences grounded in Western science and complementary therapies. We are building a pioneering team to deliver these experiences, and are seeking a Security Officer to contribute to a safe and secure environment.

Role Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees, guests, and assets at Jayasom Wellness Resort. This role involves maintaining a secure and welcoming environment consistent with luxury service standards, supporting daily security operations, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. The officer will also assist guests professionally in all guest experience areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security for all employees, guests, and company assets.
• Maintain a secure and welcoming environment in line with luxury service standards.
• Support daily security operations and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies.
• Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally across all Guest Experiences related areas.
• Anticipate and strive to exceed guests’ needs and requests.
• Act as an ambassador for the company’s wellness and sustainability culture, promoting awareness among team members through personal example and a healthy lifestyle.

Operational Duties

• Monitor resort premises through regular patrols and CCTV systems.
• Control access to all areas, verifying staff, guest, and contractor entry.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and guest concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Accurately document all security activities, incidents, and reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and safe resort operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, emergency protocols, and company standards.
• Assist with crowd control, VIP movements, and special events as required.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Security Officer position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in security operations, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment. A strong understanding of security protocols, incident response, and guest service is essential.
