The Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced engineer who can independently manage primary design elements and provide technical guidance. The role involves working on detailed engineering assignments, developing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments.
• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures or methods from previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements of engineering works.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance testing to verify system performance and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional engineering position.
• Demonstrated developmental experience in a professional position.
• Ability to work independently and provide mentorship.
