About the Electrical Engineer Role

alfanar, a company operating construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and various facilities across the Middle East and other regions, is seeking a fresh graduate Electrical Engineer for a full-time position in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. This role is focused on supporting the company's involvement in electrical, electromechanical, and civil engineering construction, as well as the manufacturing and marketing of electrical construction products and allied engineering services.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this position is to efficiently plan, control, and monitor the execution of electrical-related project tasks. The role requires adherence to defined policies and procedures to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards, thereby contributing to the achievement of departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power and Distribution transformers at site and factory locations.
Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power and distribution transformers.
Inspect incoming transformers and perform necessary tests.
Verify the availability of all transformer accessories.
Collect data from impact recorders.
Assess requirements for cranes or other equipment for transformer assembly or disassembly at sites and factories.
Execute routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at site according to international standards.
Perform low voltage electrical tests at the site.
Plan daily site activities to ensure timely job completion.
Undertake the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, and oil filtration as per established quality procedures.
Conduct in-process testing of transformers during repair or manufacturing stages.
Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for gate passes and work permits.
Ensure best practices are followed for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

This role involves contributing to team effectiveness through training and leadership, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and resolving operational issues. Key accountabilities include delivering planned activities to meet targets, maintaining quality standards, improving business processes, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Fresher - 0-2 years.
Technical/Functional Competencies: Ability to work under pressure, Project Management, MS Office proficiency, Teamwork, Time Management, Organization, Communication, Creativity, Critical thinking, Physical fitness, Initiative, and Leadership.
