About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Full-time Accountant, Accounts Payable - Non-Trade to join their team in Jeddah. This role focuses on maintaining and reconciling specific accounts, resolving supplier/customer disputes, and preparing periodic financial closings.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions related to non-trade accounts payable. This includes managing account reconciliations, addressing discrepancies, and contributing to the financial closing processes on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for assigned accounts to ensure accurate and timely reflection of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve disputes, ensuring accuracy and maintaining positive relationships.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure accurate financial statements and adherence to closing timelines.
• Analyze account balances and transaction trends to identify inconsistencies or potential errors, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules to support audits, management reviews, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of accounting operations.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role requires consistent engagement with financial operations and internal/external stakeholders.
