About the Opportunity

Nahdi Medical Co., a leading organization based in Jeddah, Makkah Region, is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Applications Senior Department Manager. This full-time role is central to managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of corporate applications, ensuring their strategic alignment and operational excellence across various business functions.

Role Overview

The Corporate Applications Senior Department Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate applications, including those related to HR, finance, procurement, and other relevant business areas. This involves the assessment and recommendation of new tools and services, aligning initiatives with overarching business strategies, driving their successful implementation, and maintaining robust operational standards and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for the effective acquisition, implementation, and utilization of corporate applications such as HR systems, financial software, and procurement tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align application strategies with overall business goals, particularly with end-user leaders and the applications department management.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate application projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This includes managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the development, customization, and enhancement of corporate applications.
  • Manage the maintenance and support of existing applications, ensuring their reliability, performance, and compliance with IT standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the corporate applications team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and challenges, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences regarding application capabilities and limitations.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure optimal value and service for the organization.
  • Stay informed of emerging technology trends and best practices in corporate applications, recommending and driving the implementation of new technologies to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of applications, implementing advanced security protocols to protect sensitive data, aiming for minimal downtime and a zero-breach security record.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned applications' performance and security to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee departmental performance, develop KPIs, and provide regular feedback, training, and guidance to staff to enhance department efficiency and employee development, aligning performance with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, and develop service level agreements to ensure standardized, efficient operations, high service quality, and adherence to standards within the department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in managing corporate applications, preferably within a retail or similar environment.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in leading large-scale IT projects.

Work Environment Details

  • The role is 100% indoors.
  • The standard work week is 5 days, with 2 days off.
  • Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour break.
