About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Corporate Applications Senior Department Manager to lead the end-to-end management and oversight of corporate applications. This full-time position, based in Jeddah or Makkah, encompasses applications related to HR, finance, procurement, and other critical business areas. The role involves suggesting and assessing new tools, aligning initiatives with business strategies, driving implementation, and maintaining operational standards and performance metrics. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for the effective acquisition, implementation, and utilization of corporate applications, including HR systems, financial software, and procurement tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align application strategies with overall business goals, specifically for end-user leaders of assigned applications and the applications department management.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate application projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and adherence to quality standards. This includes managing project risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Lead the development, customization, and enhancement of corporate applications, and oversee the maintenance and support of existing applications to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and regulatory requirements across all corporate applications.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage and develop the corporate applications team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and challenges. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of application capabilities and limitations.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure optimal value and service for the organization.

Strategic Innovation and Performance Management

  • Stay informed of emerging technology trends and best practices in corporate applications. Recommend and drive the implementation of new technologies and improvements to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned application performance and security to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee departmental performance, develop KPIs, and provide regular feedback, training, and guidance to staff to enhance efficiency, support employee development, and align performance with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, and develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure standardized, efficient operations and high service quality within the department.

Application Security and Operational Standards

  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of applications.
  • Implement advanced security protocols to protect sensitive data, aiming for minimal downtime, high user satisfaction, and a zero-breach security record.

Work Environment

This role operates 100% indoors. The standard work week is 5 working days with 2 days off. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour break.
