The Role of Digital Transformation Manager

The Digital Transformation Manager will lead the design and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the logistics business. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, focuses on improving operational visibility, customer experience, productivity, data quality, and integration across freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the logistics digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise technology standards.
Lead the business design, implementation, adoption, and benefits realization of digital platforms and automation initiatives.
Provide concise reports on progress, budget, risk, adoption, and benefit realization to governance committees.
Translate operational and customer requirements into clear business cases, functional requirements, process designs, and delivery priorities.
Manage vendors and partners through clear deliverables, service levels, and escalation mechanisms.
Coordinate implementation partners, technology teams, vendors, and business owners to deliver approved initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.
Establish project governance, risk controls, change management, user training, and post-implementation performance tracking.
Promote data-driven decision-making and ensure digital solutions support information security, privacy, and business continuity requirements.
Identify and evaluate automation, AI, IoT, analytics, customer portal, and integration opportunities relevant to logistics operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital transformation, technology-enabled change, or business systems.
At least 3 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Certification in PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation is preferred.
