About the Role: Electrician

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a full-time Electrician to join our team in Jeddah. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems. The Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, connecting components, and ensuring all work complies with established electrical codes.

Key Technical Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to assess electrical systems.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and other critical systems.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Read and accurately follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.

Operational Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Services and Team Collaboration

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

• Prepare and review information accurately and completely in various formats.

Physical Requirements and Essential Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
