About Alshams Energy and the Role

Alshams Energy (الشمس للطاقة) is seeking a dedicated Fuel Operator ITP to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to operational excellence and safety in aviation fuel services.

Role Purpose

The Into-Plane Fuel Operator is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient fueling of aircraft on the tarmac. This critical role involves the precise operation of fueling equipment, performing essential quality checks on fuel, and ensuring that the correct quantity and type of fuel are delivered to aircraft in strict adherence to airline specifications and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote HSSE performance and ensure full compliance with AL SHAMS Energy Company policies, IATA, JIG, GACA, and local legislation.
• Report all incidents in a timely manner as per established incident reporting guidelines.
• Actively participate in Toolbox Talks covering safety, operational procedures, and training.
• Operate company equipment, including Refuellers, Dispensers, and Pick-ups, strictly adhering to company and GACA driving speed limits and regulations.
• Perform fueling operations precisely according to Al SHAMS ENERGY COMPANY working instructions.
• Conduct equipment inspections and checks before operations and during shift handovers to ensure readiness and operability, completing and filing all required forms and records.
• Execute Refueller loading procedures and perform necessary quality control tests as per Al SHAMS ENERGY COMPANY working instructions.
• Carry out Fuellers tank-gauging and dipping tasks.
• Perform daily fuel sampling and quality control tests for both Fuellers and Dispensers.
• Complete all necessary task-related documentation accurately.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

A fundamental aspect of this role is the unwavering commitment to strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. The operator must diligently work to prevent spills, accidents, or any operational disruptions. This includes maintaining comprehensive fueling records and ensuring that all fueling operations are completed efficiently and within required timeframes, upholding the highest standards of operational integrity.
