Alshams Energy is seeking a dedicated Operator Fuel Farm to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the efficient and safe operation of fuel storage facilities within the region.

The Role of Fuel Farm Operator

The Fuel Farm Operator performs essential day-to-day operational activities at the fuel storage facility. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and transfer of fuel, ensuring all operations comply with GACA operational procedures and stringent safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily operational activities at the fuel farm.
• Receiving fuel deliveries from pipelines, tanker trucks, or marine vessels.
• Monitoring tank levels and maintaining accurate fuel inventory records.
• Managing fuel transfers between various storage tanks.
• Operating valves, pumps, and control systems in strict adherence to GACA procedures.
• Supporting aircraft fueling operations as required.
• Conducting routine inspections of equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Recording operational data and maintaining comprehensive logs for GACA compliance.
• Responding promptly to alarms and addressing operational issues.
• Adhering to all GACA safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within the facility.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates for the Operator Fuel Farm position should possess a strong operational background and meet the following criteria:

• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in fuel farm operations or a similar industrial environment.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airside clearance.

Work Environment and Conditions

This is a full-time role based in Jiddah, Makkah. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous operational coverage of the fuel farm facility.
