The Role: Lobby Ambassador - The Jeddah EDITION

EDITION is seeking a Lobby Ambassador for The Jeddah EDITION. This full-time role is responsible for promptly addressing all guest needs and requests, ensuring effective communication with relevant staff and departments. The position involves preparing service carts, entering guest rooms following established procedures, and confirming room vacancy before entry. This is an entry-level opportunity, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Replace guest supplies in rooms and deliver VIP amenities.
  • Remove trash and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Verify the presence and working order of all in-room appliances.
  • Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances within rooms.
  • Assess room cleanliness and notify Housekeeping if cleaning is required (*, dirty linens, unmade bed, surface dust, carpets requiring vacuuming).
  • Provide lifestyle services upon request, including packing/unpacking, pressing/ironing, shoe polishing, food/drink deliveries and setups, and workout setups.
  • Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Properly store flammable materials.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance meet professional standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
  • Support the team in achieving common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

Candidates for this role are not required to have a high school diploma or *** equivalent, nor is prior related work experience or supervisory experience necessary. No specific license or certification is required.

The role requires the ability to:

  • Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Push and pull loaded service carts and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
