The Role of Area Visual Merchandiser

The MIU MIU Area Visual Merchandiser is responsible for developing window displays and store interiors within an assigned geographic area, specifically in Jeddah. This full-time role involves adhering to creative guidelines set by Miu Miu Management to enhance sales while maintaining the brand image and product presentation. The Area Visual Merchandiser also ensures the implementation of Headquarters guidelines by local Visual Designers and store teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop window display and store interior design proposals, adapting them to individual store types and merchandising, in line with defined guidelines.
• Execute periodic store displays based on the schedule established by Retail Management, considering sales trends, market characteristics, customer demographics, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with Retail Merchandising to create displays that attract customer traffic and increase sales, identifying market-, customer-, and seasonally appropriate outfits based on product stock levels and compliance with guidelines.
• Monitor the accuracy and appropriateness of displays in the assigned area through timely review of photographs submitted by local Visual Teams, in collaboration with Retail Merchandising.
• Provide guidance to Store Managers and In-Store Visualists to ensure display maintenance and necessary daily adjustments.
• Set up showroom displays for seasonal collection releases, following instructions from the Collection Merchandiser.
• Collaborate with the Communications & PR Department on in-store events and press presentations.
• Provide feedback on store internal status and display items, communicating critical issues to the store manager and submitting them to Operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years in a relevant field.
• Ability to interpret and implement visual merchandising guidelines effectively.
• Strong understanding of luxury brand image and product presentation.
• Capability to adapt visual strategies to specific store environments and market demands.
