About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking an Operations Controller to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is critical for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established standards. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in operational control within a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily shift plan is executed in accordance with facility requirements.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to achieve operational objectives efficiently.
• Identify and resolve operational exceptions as they arise.
• Verify that all inbound products are received following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Confirm that all storage operations are conducted as per SOPs.
• Ensure all outbound orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time, in compliance with SOPs.
• Maintain and accurately record all electronic and paper documentation.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Operations Manager and Supervisor.

Operational Standards and Compliance

• Uphold company standards for Health & Safety (H&S), Housekeeping, Food Safety, Accuracy, Discipline, and Performance.
• Ensure all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) regulations and procedures are applied to storekeeping activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene within the store environment.

Documentation and Waste Management

• Process all necessary administrative tasks and documents related to product issuing, receiving, and returns, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the disposal of wasted products and ensure accurate recording of waste in accordance with company procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an operations or warehouse control role.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift and other Material Handling Equipment.

Work Environment Considerations

• Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments, including freezers and chillers.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, particularly during holiday periods, to meet operational demands.
