About the Senior Associate - ICC Banking Operations Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Associate for ICC Banking Operations to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 1-4 years of experience and focuses on managing the company's banking operations to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.

Core Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to maintain control over Bupa CareConnect bank accounts, ensuring effective cash flow management, accurate account maintenance, and fostering strong relationships with banking partners. Key accountabilities include:

• Monitoring daily cash availability and reporting to leadership.
• Downloading, reviewing bank statements, and ensuring timely bank posting.
• Coordinating with banking partners on transfers and reconciliation matters.
• Ensuring the secure handling of all cash and non-cash payment channels.
• Supporting cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning activities.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and reviewing their accuracy.
• Monitoring daily refund requests and processing payment transactions accurately and on time.

Bank Relationship Management

This role involves actively managing relationships with banks to establish a robust network and facilitate seamless operations. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing bank agreements and understanding their terms and conditions.
• Participating in negotiations with various banks regarding provided services.

Trade and Business Solutions Processing

The position requires end-to-end processing of trade finance products and management of point-of-sale (POS) terminals. Specific duties include:

• Handling Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee, and Bid Bonds.
• Managing the installation, activation, maintenance, tracking, and deactivation of POS terminals.
• Processing new merchant applications and ensuring proper POS service setup.
• Addressing merchant inquiries, issues, and service requests related to POS.
• Coordinating with technical and payment gateway teams to resolve device and integration issues.
• Supporting merchants with payment gateway integration.

Compliance and Audit Support

Adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls is crucial. This involves:

• Ensuring full compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations.
• Reviewing transactions to identify any suspicious or unusual activity.
• Preparing necessary documentation for internal and external audit inquiries.
