About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to the effective operation and reliability of electrical systems, focusing on their evaluation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting within our operations.

Role Purpose

The Senior Electrical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous functionality and safety of all electrical installations and equipment. This involves a hands-on approach to both routine tasks and complex problem-solving, contributing directly to operational efficiency and adherence to technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly, evaluation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, and apparatus.
• Read and accurately interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
• Utilize blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the precise placement of outlets and fixtures.
• Support the installation of wiring, outlets, and controls in various settings.
• Perform comprehensive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their reliability and longevity.
• Identify electrical problems efficiently using specialized diagnostic tools.
• Execute repairs and replacements of wiring and equipment using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Assist with the installation and correct routing of electrical wiring according to specifications.

Required Skills and Tools

Candidates for this role must possess practical skills in electrical diagnostics and repair, including proficiency with specific tools:

• Ability to identify electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repair and replacement tasks, including screwdrivers, saws, drills, wire strippers, and conduit breakers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an electrical technician role or a related field.
• Demonstrated capability in reading and interpreting technical electrical documentation.
• Proven experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various electrical systems.
