The General Sector Supervisor ensures project execution adheres to timelines and quality standards, acting as a key evaluative and supervisory reference to ensure compliance among all staff (supervisors and security personnel).

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and enhance security and operational processes within the designated sector. The supervisor will focus on identifying industrial violations, analyzing strategic risks, and reporting these findings to management, ensuring all operations align with established standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular and surprise inspection tours to ensure compliance of shift supervisors and security personnel with instructions.
    • Verify that all field activities comply with industrial city policies and general safety standards.
  2. Industrial Control Management (Violations):

    • Prepare accurate reports on "setback storage" violations and ensure emergency and setback passages are clear of obstacles.
    • Monitor and document any operational, environmental, or security violations originating from factories and establishments within the sector.
  3. Leadership Coordination and Performance Meetings:

    • Organize and chair regular meetings with shift supervisors and specialized supervisors to review performance indicators and resolve field challenges.
    • Intervene directly to resolve complex issues that lower supervisory levels cannot address.
  4. Complaint Management and Response:

    • Follow up on complaints from investors, factories, or city residents, ensuring immediate and professional resolution and closure of reports.
  5. Performance Evaluation and Development:

    • Prepare formal quarterly performance evaluation reports for supervisors (shift supervisors and general supervisors) based on efficiency and field results.
    • Identify performance gaps and propose development programs to enhance team efficiency.
  6. Strategic Reports (Project Status):

    • Formulate periodic reports for senior management detailing "project health," including:
    • Progress: Achievements against operational plans.
    • Challenges: Obstacles hindering workflow.
    • Risks: Potential threats (security, operational, or structural) and mitigation plans.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams towards overarching goals.
  • Analytical Capability: High proficiency in analyzing field reports and extracting risk indicators.
  • Decisiveness and Objectivity: Ability to conduct fair performance evaluations and make firm decisions regarding violations.
  • Administrative Communication: High proficiency in drafting correspondence and reports for senior management and external entities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in security operations, supervision, or project management within an industrial setting.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the interview process.
