The Role: Regional Quality Coordinator (Poultry)

Almarai is seeking a Regional Quality Coordinator for its Poultry division in Hail, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to maintaining quality systems across regional operations. The coordinator ensures product quality from the initial receiving stage through inspection, handling, storage, selling, and delivery, ultimately aiming to satisfy consumer and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement quality procedures within the region.
• Provide training to staff on established quality standards.
• Conduct audits of processes and products to ensure compliance.
• Report on quality performance metrics.
• Review existing processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up on the implementation of approved corrective actions.
• Update quality procedures and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) forms.
• Perform continuous improvement analysis to enhance quality systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Poultry Technology or a related science field.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Possession of a valid driving license from the country of origin.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of product composition, product quality standards, correct product handling, and food hygiene principles.
• Understanding of system implementation, updating, upgrading, and evaluation of quality systems.
• Demonstrated report writing skills.
• Self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on maintaining high quality.
• Comfortable interacting and communicating with senior executives.
