Production Manager

Job Summary

National Initiative Human Resource Company is seeking a Production Manager – Mixing for one of its manufacturing clients. This full-time role is based in Makkah, specifically in King Abdullah Economic City or Makkah, and involves leading production operations, enhancing manufacturing performance, and developing operational teams within the manufacturing sector.

Role Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the mixing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets and optimize manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver production plans and volume targets through effective capacity, manpower, and resource planning.
• Strengthen product quality, analyze production losses, and implement measures to reduce waste and downtime.
• Ensure HSE compliance and drive improvements in energy, water consumption, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Coordinate maintenance plans, machinery capability assessments, and manufacturing investment initiatives.
• Implement Lean practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop production teams through clear objectives, competency development, and structured training programs.
• Support quality audits, customer audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the tyre industry.
• Proven industrial production experience with strong team leadership and operational management capabilities.
• Mandatory practical operational experience with at least two of the following: Comerio Calenders, Fischer Cutting Machines, and Troester Extruders.
• Strong knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, capacity planning, production systems, and loss analysis.
• Sound understanding of Lean manufacturing, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), behavior-based safety, and quality audit standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English. Arabic or additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Tyre manufacturing experience and participation in a factory ramp-up are preferred.

This position is a full-time role located in the Makkah region, specifically within King Abdullah Economic City or Makkah.
