About the Role

Everhires is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth within the Saudi freight and logistics sector. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic expansion plans across enterprise and SME accounts.

Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities. This includes negotiating high-value contracts and collaborating closely with operations teams to deliver seamless supply chain solutions. The position requires a strategic approach to market penetration and client engagement within the region's logistics landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and 3PL/4PL services.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, perform accurate revenue forecasting, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual targets.
• Develop multi-channel growth strategies targeting key industries and geographic markets within the region.
• Conduct needs assessments, deliver tailored solutions, and lead competitive bidding and RFP/RFQ proposals.
• Partner with Operations, Pricing, and Compliance teams to ensure service offerings are feasible, profitable, and compliant.
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing structures, and master service agreements (MSAs).
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts (such as ZATCA/customs updates) to refine market strategy.
• Oversee client onboarding, ensure high retention rates, and represent the brand at industry conferences and networking events.
• Deliver regular sales performance analytics, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of proven business development or sales experience specifically within freight forwarding and logistics.
• Strong operational understanding of multimodal transport (Air, Ocean, Road), Incoterms 2020, customs clearance processes, and Saudi logistics regulations.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Hands-on experience with CRM systems (*, Odoo, Salesforce) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); strong capability in pipeline tracking and data analysis.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, executive communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to travel regionally as required by key accounts and market demands.

Compensation and Employment Details

This is a full-time position. Compensation includes a competitive base salary complemented by an attractive commission and bonus structure.
