The Role

Accor is seeking a Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for ibis & adagio, Mercure Makkah Alazizia & ibis styles Makkah. This full-time position is based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the overall Cluster Sales & Marketing strategy in alignment with hotel commercial objectives.
Lead the annual Sales Plan, Marketing Plan, budget, and revenue targets for the cluster.
Drive business development across key segments including Corporate, Government, Groups, Leisure, Wholesale, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, and Hajj & Umrah.
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and market stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market share.
Lead and motivate the Sales & Marketing teams, ensuring clear objectives, KPIs, and continuous performance improvement.
Collaborate with General Managers, Revenue Management, Operations, and Finance teams to maximize overall hotel performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local, regional, and international accounts.
Oversee the implementation of marketing, PR, promotional, and digital initiatives to strengthen hotel positioning and brand visibility.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular commercial reports, forecasts, and business insights to hotel leadership.
Ensure effective participation in trade shows, sales calls, client events, and relevant tourism and hospitality activities.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating sales and marketing teams.
Strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs in the hospitality sector.

Work Environment

This role is based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working across a cluster of Accor properties including ibis & adagio, Mercure Makkah Alazizia & ibis styles Makkah. The position is full-time, and the salary will be discussed during the interview process.
