About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Compensation Benefits Manager to join its team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role is integral to managing and enhancing the organization's total rewards frameworks.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage, develop, and enhance Panda’s total rewards frameworks. This involves designing compensation policies, maintaining salary structures and grading systems, and conducting thorough market and internal equity analyses. The Compensation Benefits Manager provides expert advisory to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation decisions, ensuring governance and policy compliance, and supporting organizational design and transformation initiatives. This position is crucial for maintaining internal equity, strengthening market competitiveness, and enabling informed, fair, and consistent reward practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, including salary structures, pay bands, allowances, and benefits, to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with Panda’s compensation philosophy.
  • Lead annual reward cycles, managing salary increments, bonus calculations, reward matrices, and distribution processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Conduct job evaluations using approved methodologies, maintain the job architecture, support governance committees, and ensure consistent application across all functions.
  • Perform internal equity reviews and market benchmark analyses (*, Korn Ferry/Mercer) to provide insights and recommendations for pay positioning.
  • Develop and enforce compensation policies, ensure adherence to governance standards, validate HR data, and support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Provide reward insights for organizational design initiatives, restructuring decisions, and workforce planning, including compensation, grading, and cost-impact analysis.
  • Prepare dashboards, analytics, and presentations for leadership, HC committees, and governance forums, ensuring clear visibility of reward trends and cost implications.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and functional leaders to address compensation issues, provide advisory support on salary decisions, promotions, and transfers, and recommend reward solutions.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits management.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with operational scope covering both Jeddah and Makkah.
