Director Corporate Finance

About the Role

AlBalad AlAmeen for Development and Urban Regeneration is seeking a Director Corporate Finance to lead the company's corporate finance, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, budget control, and working capital management activities. This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The Corporate Finance Director will lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes, prepare various financial and management reports, and develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans. The role involves providing forward-looking analysis to support management decision-making, monitoring financial performance, liquidity, cash flow, and working capital, and supporting project and investment evaluations. Ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting to the CFO, Executive Management, relevant committees, and the Board of Directors is a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the annual budget preparation process, including departmental budgets, consolidation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial plans, rolling forecasts, and projections aligned with the company’s strategy.
• Establish and maintain effective budgetary control, monitor performance against budgets, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide financial analysis and executive-level commentary on revenue, profitability, operating costs, capital expenditure, cash flow, and financial position.
• Manage and monitor working capital, including receivables, payables, and cash conversion cycle, to optimize liquidity.
• Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, identifying funding requirements and potential liquidity gaps.
• Develop and maintain financial business plans and models for projects and investment opportunities.
• Support financial feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and financial due diligence for new projects.
• Ensure budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and corporate finance activities comply with approved policies and internal controls.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the Corporate Finance team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning, and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in leading budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain financial models and support investment evaluations.
• Experience in managing working capital and cash flow.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, and stakeholder coordination.
