About the Field Service Engineer Role

GE Vernova is offering a Field Service Engineering role designed as an investment in fresh graduates. This full-time, 1-year fixed-term engagement provides hands-on technical training and practical on-the-job experience. The role focuses on developing core skills necessary for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment in the field within the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. Role Overview

This position allows individuals to gain valuable technical experience within GE Vernova's core operations. It requires a solid understanding of engineering concepts, technical methods, and operational procedures to ensure effective field support and maintenance. The role is critical for promoting customer satisfaction through high-quality service and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to technical instructions and internal processes for on-site repair and maintenance activities.
• Complete administrative tasks, including timely submission of timesheets and expense reports, ordering materials, and documenting work in SOR and DOR systems.
• Successfully complete all scheduled training courses provided by GE Vernova.
• Ensure a high level of quality awareness to promote customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong safety awareness, ensuring all work performed meets GEV safety standards and technical requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
• Supervise critical tasks performed by suppliers on behalf of GEV, such as measurements and dimensional checks, as deemed necessary by management.

Work Environment and Expectations

The Field Service Engineer role involves extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments. Flexibility is required, as the position may necessitate working holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet operational demands in the field.
