About Rotana Hotels

Rotana Hotels is seeking a General Mechanical Supervisor to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role is for a maintenance professional who is dedicated to delivering high standards of service and providing effective solutions within a hotel environment.

Role Overview

As a General Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, modification, and maintenance of various equipment. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain all kitchen and laundry equipment in good working order.
Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure the cleanliness of all kitchen and laundry equipment.
Monitor and maintain the performance of pumps and motors.
Strictly follow the preventive maintenance chart and maintain accurate records for future reference.
Coordinate with other department counterparts to ensure satisfaction with quality and progress, fostering healthy inter-departmental relationships.
Interpret engineering drawings and calculations effectively, identifying inconsistencies promptly.
Create and facilitate on-the-job training for engineering employees to enhance their skills and promote multitasking.
Be aware of and proficient in hotel emergency procedures.
Adhere to hotel rules and serve as an example to other staff members.
Fit and assemble components, sub-assemblies, and complete equipment to appropriate precision and standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a hotel environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
