Head of Finance

Position Summary

GRG is seeking a Head of Finance to manage the finance and administrative functions across Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Makkah, with operations extending to Jeddah. The position involves leading a team of approximately 10 individuals and requires a finance leader with extensive experience in a complex multinational environment.

Role Overview

The Head of Finance will oversee financial management, accounting, treasury, tax, legal entity governance, and operational effectiveness for the Saudi Arabian operations. This role requires close collaboration with senior country and regional leadership to ensure strong financial controls and act as a strategic partner to the broader business. The position offers significant exposure across various financial disciplines and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance and administrative functions across Saudi Arabia.
• Oversee financial management, accounting, treasury, and tax operations.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with legal entity governance.
• Drive operational effectiveness and process simplification within the finance department.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior country and regional leadership.
• Navigate and manage a sophisticated regulatory and tax environment.
• Engage with external auditors, financial institutions, tax advisors, and government authorities.
• Influence the financial direction and effectiveness of the Saudi operation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in a broad country-level leadership position within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team.
• Strong understanding of IFRS reporting and transfer pricing.
• Experience with legal entity financial management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah. The role involves leading a team of approximately 10 finance professionals and requires regular interaction with senior stakeholders and external partners.
