Head of Finance

About the Role

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is seeking a Head of Finance to join its MENA Leadership Team. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading financial strategy and operational rigor for a high-growth, multi-national organization operating in real estate, hospitality, and branded residences. The position requires a finance leader with over 10 years of experience who can manage both strategic and operational finance functions, from developing regional operating models to overseeing monthly financial closes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives and regional growth plans.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for leadership, investors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Drive capital allocation decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and macroeconomic insight.
• Support fundraising initiatives, banking relationships, and strategic financing activities.
• Ensure strong financial governance through effective controls, policies, and compliance processes.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and investors.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOCPA/ZATCA, VAT, e-invoicing, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Development, Legal, and People teams.

Core Duties

• Maintain general ledger integrity, reconciliations, monthly close (within 5 business days), and audit preparation for KSA entities.
• Manage a 13-week rolling cash-flow, updated weekly, and oversee banking operations and KYC.
• Develop and manage the driver-based operating model (unit economics to site P&L to regional consolidation).
• Conduct scenario planning (pricing, staffing, capex, launch cadence) and produce a weekly MENA Cash & KPI pack.
• Frame the optimal capital stack for MENA initiatives, including equity, project debt, and JV/mezz facility administration.
• Coordinate with Property Accounting to ensure accurate building-level statements are integrated into KSA/MENA reporting.
• Enhance systems and processes across accounting, expense management, and BI tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership in high-growth, multi-national environments.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/SOCPA) with extensive IFRS and SOCPA/ZATCA exposure.
• Background in real estate, hospitality, asset management, or other asset-heavy businesses.
• Hands-on treasury/cash management experience and comfort managing senior KSA banking relationships.
• Proven ability to build financial models, processes, and controls from scratch.
• Track record of financial planning, analysis, and reporting with a data-driven, strategic mindset.
• Experience with fundraising, capital markets, and/or investor relations (early or late stage).
• Comfort operating in founder-led, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
• Advanced modeling skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets; familiarity with modern finance systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; demonstrated ability as a concise, executive-level communicator.
• Nice to have: Exposure to property accounting, development pro-formas, and real estate/prop-tech.
