Chedi Hospitality is seeking a Director of Finance for The Chedi Hegra, located within the Hegra Reserve in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. Role Summary

The Director of Finance functions as the strategic financial business leader for The Chedi Hegra. This full-time role involves developing and implementing property-wide strategies to meet the needs of guests, owners, and employees. The position provides financial expertise to execute business strategies, maximize return on investment, and deliver strong, transparent financial results. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop strategies to improve profit, including cost/benefit analysis and exploring new business opportunities.
Analyze information, forecast sales against expenses, and create annual budget plans.
Monitor actual sales against projected sales and analyze variances for efficient budget planning.
Implement appropriate controls to manage business risk and ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment.
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan aligned with strategic direction.
Provide ongoing analytical support by monitoring operating departments' actual and projected sales and producing accurate forecasts.
Lead the finance team, advocating sound financial and business decision-making, and communicating strategic goals.
Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
Manage communication with owners, understanding their priorities and ensuring transparency.
Manage property working capital and cash flow in accordance with brand standards and owner requirements.
Ensure accurate documentation of profits and losses and timely submission of reports.
Monitor all applicable taxes, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.
Ensure compliance with the management contract, owner reporting requirements, and applicable Saudi laws.
Ensure finance team members are cross-trained, receive appropriate training, and participate in performance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience in finance leadership.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement property-wide financial strategies.
Strong analytical skills for financial data and market trends.
Proficiency in creating and managing annual operating budgets.
Experience in leading and developing a finance team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive financial behaviors.
Understanding of cash flow management and owner priorities.
Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and government platform requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia, at The Chedi Hegra. The role involves working within a luxury hospitality environment managed by GHM Hotels, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.
