Hotel General Manager

About the Role

Fakieh Tarfeeh Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel General Manager to oversee the overall operations and performance of their hotel in Jeddah, Makkah. This is a full-time position focused on leading all aspects of hotel management to ensure operational excellence and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the hotel’s overall daily operations and ensure operational excellence.
• Lead and manage all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Engineering, Security, and Procurement.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, occupancy, and overall financial performance.
• Monitor key hotel KPIs, including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of guest experience and service quality.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, tourism entities, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hospitality standards, health & safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead workforce planning, employee performance, development, and engagement.
• Prepare and manage budgets, operating expenses, and business plans.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective corrective actions.
• Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to executive management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a General Manager or senior hotel leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, sales, and financial performance.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of guest experience and hospitality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and make effective decisions under pressure.

Work Environment

This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within the hospitality sector. The General Manager will operate in a dynamic hotel environment, requiring continuous oversight and strategic decision-making.
